Tibetan Tea - China - Sichuan

One of China's largest provinces, located on the border with Tibet, is renowned for producing fermented Zhang Cha tea for export to neighboring Tibet. The center of the Zhang Cha tea region, also known as Tibetan tea, is the mountainous area around Ya-an, where tea cultivation has an incredibly long tradition. The Ya-an area is considered one of the oldest tea-growing and processing sites ever.
