Ivory porcelain from Taiwan is a result of a high class craftsmanship. Porcelain is lightweight, hard wearing (despite common misconceptions), offers precise tolerances and great precision in the finished products, if they are well made, of course. It is a perfectly neutral material as opposed to unfinished clays that colour the taste of the tea. Taiwanese potters also create perfect shapes from different types and colours of clays.
