Green tea - Taiwan

In addition to the renowned oolongs, Taiwan's varied selection of teas also includes very interesting green teas. Taiwan is home to many cultivars of the tea plant, resulting in a diverse production with many flavour and aroma positions. In addition, Taiwan has ideal geographical and climatic conditions for growing tea plants. Green teas from Taiwan are mostly hand-picked and processed using traditional methods that date back to mainland China.
