Rooibos Green Bio

Green unfermented rooibos. South African shrub Aspalathus linearis contains a large amount of minerals and vitamin C. It doesn´t contain any caffeine, is suitable for small children as well and tastes great also as cold macerate (ice tea). Tiny green needles with a fresh slightly herbal scent. A golden-orange infusion full of sweet roundness, a slightly sharper taste compared to red rooibos, with fruity to juicy tones and a longer herbal aftertaste.

How to brew Rooibos Green

Use 5 grams of tea leaves for 0.5 litre of boiling water, steep for 3–5 minutes. Feel free to experiment with steeping time, water temperature, and the amount of tea leaves. You can also read our articles on tea preparation and water quality.

Ice tea: Leaves can be steeped in cold water overnight in the fridge, using 9g of tea per liter of water.
