Summer tea from the Harmutty Assam garden located in Upper Assam on the border with the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Dark, fully oxidised, nicely rolled dry leaf with a delicate fruity, slightly woody aroma. Red infusion of full, round, honey flavors with fruit tones, with a predominance of stone fruits, dried apricots, and a pleasant tannin in the aftertaste.
How to brew Assam Harmutty

Harmutty Tea Estate
This tea estate is situated in Lakhimpur. The name of the tea estate is derived from the name of queen Hiramati and this is one of the oldest tea estates situated in Assam. It dates back to 1870. The tea estate is settled at a beautiful location that just looks like a painting. The Dikrong river flows alongside the garden with a backdrop of the hills of Arunachal Pradesh.
