Lugu Dong Ding Oolong
Sweet floral aroma with roasted undertones, a wondrously sweet, pure aftertaste which lasts long after a sip. Flowery aroma reminding tropical fruits. Clear, pale yellow colour in a cup.
Dong Ding is located at Lugu village, Nantou County where the weather is cold and mist, cloud all year around very suitable for growing tea.

How to brew Dong Ding
Use 5 grams of tea leaves for 0.5 litre of boiling water cooled to 85-90 °C, steep for 2–3 minutes. Feel free to experiment with steeping time, water temperature, and the amount of tea leaves. These tea leaves are also suitable for Asian-style preparation, which includes multiple infusions: you steep 5 grams of tea leaves per 150 ml of water that has boiled and cooled to 85–90 °C for 30 seconds and in the following three infusions, you steep the leaves for 40, 60, and 90 seconds, respectively.
The traditional Dong Ding oolong tea planted at 700–200-m high mountain area which tea are mostly made by strain of the plant Chin Xin Oolong. Tea was picked one bud 2 leaves or one bud 3 leaves and produced in about 30% fermentation and heavy roasted.
It is said Dong Ding Oolong brought back from Fujian province by promoted scholar (Jui Ren 舉人) Fong Chi Lin from Lugu County in year 1885 when he came back from China pass by from Wu Yi Mt and brought back the 36 tea plants Chin Xin Oolong (青心烏龍). Because Shan Xian Lin was told that Fong Chi Lin did not have enough money attend for imperia civil examination. So, He helped Fong Chi. After Fong Chi Lin successfully won a promoted scholar (Jui Ren) he gave 12 tea plants to Mr. Lin Shan Xian who successfully grown these plant near “Kylin Pond” at Lugu, Dong Ding area.
