Kyusu Teapot White HV

Stoneware wood-fired at 1300ᵒC.

The wood is treated with a mixture of vegetable oils certified for contact with food. The handle is well resistant to water, moisture and liquids common in the home. The hand can be wiped with a damp cloth or rinsed briefly with water and then left to dry.  The handle is glued into the ceramic casing with a water- and temperature-resistant adhesive (hot water is not a problem) and the joint is secured "carpenter-style" with wooden pegs.
