Nicely processed, regularly rolled, slightly oxidized leaves with a fresh floral aroma. A light golden infusion of beautifully balanced, sweet, smooth flavors with notes of floral nectar, summer herbs and citrus with a long vibrant aftertaste.

How to prepare Darjeeling Balasun

Use 5 grams of tea leaves for 0.5 litre of boiling water cooled to 85-90 °C, steep for 2–3 minutes. Feel free to experiment with steeping time, water temperature, and the amount of tea leaves. You can also read our articles on tea preparation and water quality.

Macerate: Tea is excellent also as macerated in cold water. Put approx. 7 g of tea leaves into 1 l jug or bottle. Fill with cold water and let it steep overnight and you will have a delicious, cooling, and encouraging beverage in the morning!
